Mary Queen of Scots interview

For this task I was asked to choose a famous Scottish person to ask some questions to and find out a bit more about them, I chose Mary Queen of Scots and here’s how it went.

Q - Hey there so first im going to start with what are you famous for?
A - Well im famous for claiming the crowns of 4 nations at one time they were Scotland, France, England and Ireland and also for my tragic life.

Q - Why did you move to France when you were 5?
A - We kept getting invaded by the English so Henry II of France offered us a safe home and in return I had to marry his son Francois.

Q - So what happened in your first marriage?
A - Francois died in December 1560 leaving me as an 18 year old widow, I was stripped of the French crown and had to choice but to return to Scotland.

Q - How did you choose your second husband?
A - He was my cousin Henry Stewart, I nursed him when he had measles and we fell in love, we got married on 22nd July 1565 in the chapel of Holyrood Palace.

Q - What happened to Henry?
A - Our marriage started to fall apart as he accused me of spending too much time with my secretary David Rizzio, then on march 7th 1566 David was brutally murdered in front of me, I was 6 months pregnant at the time and for the safety of myself and my unborn child I decided to leave Henry in Edinburgh and so I fled to Dunbar Castle.

Q - So what happened there?
A - Well I gave birth to my son James in 1566, Henry never came to the christening and in 1567 there was an explosion in the house Kirk O’Field and Henry was found dead in the garden, apparently of strangulation.

Q - Wow that must have been really hard for you?
A - Na not really, I got over it quite quickly and married my third husband Bothwell on May 15th 1567.

Q - So how did your life end then?
A - I was accused of being involved in a plot to kill Elizabeth, at the trial I was found guilty and sentenced to death. In February 1587 I was given just 24 hours notice that I would be executed the next day.

Well thanks for taking some time out to answer my questions, Here’s hoping if you ever come back in a second life you have a bit more luck.

Collaborative Writing

Previous

From the age of 12 i had always been in trouble with the police. I started hanging around with the wrong crowd and then i started taking drugs to make myself feel better, when i took them all my cares dissapeared and i felt much more happier than normal then i started stealing from shops and even my own family to feed my drug habit, in and out of jail and now my own brother had suffered because of me. If it wasnt for my stupidity he would still be alive now, i should never have asked him to do what he did for me, i felt so bad.

Fonejacker

Iv been watching Fonejacker on a friday night on channel 4. A bit immature i know but i think its so funny.
Hope this makes you laugh :)

Im Not Dead

If i had to choose i would say that my favourite album would be P!nks album im not dead, I just think that is it so good and the songs are so catchy, iv never found an album where i have liked every single song thats on it as theres always crappy songs that nobody likes, but thats not the case on this album. It has a mixture of upbeat songs and mellow songs. My favourite songs on the album are Stupid Girls, Coz I Can and Fingers.
I went to see her last year in Aberdeen and the atmosphere was amazing, she was absolutely brilliant live.
